Lady's nurse

Annie BREADMORE was the youngest of seven children of John BREADMORE and Sarah TAME, born in Blewbury, Berkshire in 1855. In 1881 she was listed as a lady's nurse at Lashbrook Farm, Shiplake, Oxfordshire, one of five servants, with the PAINE family.

By 1891 Ann was living in Tank Road, Reading with George BUTLER and her 2 year old daughter, but in 1893 Ann died. An inquest into her death gave the verdict that Ann 'died from taking poison during a fit of temporary insanity'.
